On the 20th of October I presented my pitch for the documentary.
I'm definitely not the strongest public speaker I know so was extremely nervous to present my idea to my lecturer. I spent the whole train journey to Bournemouth reading and rereading my research so I was prepared for any question that may have been thrown at me. In the 3 minute pitch, I had to explain the point and relevance of 'Fashion's New Agender?', how I will go about creating the documentary and what the target station and audience will be.
Despite my nerves, I received a good mark for my pitch and was given the go ahead to start producing my documentary.
Here is some feedback I received from the pitch:
"A confident, impassioned pitch about a project which has clear intentions and a considered action plan.
"By focusing on the issue of clothes for those who regard themselves as non-binary, you are applauded for taking a unique angle on a contemporary subject which should hopefully reveal a much wider issue regarding social ideologies on gender."
