The results are in from the survey! Thank you to everyone who took part and shared it with their friends and family on Facebook.
The top statistics:
33.33% said that gender neutral clothing ranges are a good idea
55.56% said that clothing should be gendered
77.78% said that gender stereotypes can be damaging
These results are interesting because it shows that the majority of voters think gender stereotypes can be damaging but only a third are in favour of gender neutral clothing ranges. This leads me to believe that the voters aren't sure on how they feel about the topic as gender stereotypes are massively enforced through gendered fashion. This reinforces my passion for the project because I want to inform people about those who don't conform to a binary gender and what fashion means for them.
